We are in May and the rainy season has entered a little early this year. The prognostics say that it isn't the rainy season (winter) yet but if it smells like winter and tastes like winter, it's probably winter. This is what the locals call yucca wood...gathered together like this (growing in the ground) until the moment they decide that it's time to plant it. It's about time....Estamos en el mes de mayo y la época de lluvia ha llegado temprano este año. Los prognósticos dicen que falta todavía para el invierno (época de lluvia) pero yo digo: si huele a invierno y sabe a invierno, probablemente es invierno. Los locales llaman aquel monte 'madera de yuca'...juntadita (pegada y creciendo en el suelo) hasta el momento cuando deciden que es hora de sembra. Ya casi....
