There's a new tourism project in Tola, Rivas, Nicaragua named Guacalito de la Isla. The first phase consists of a world-class boutique hotel with 35 habitations. Vacation villas and a golf course designed by David Mclay Kidd will complete the first phase of this project, designed to be finished in 2013. Additionally there are plans for a world-class hotel with 600 habitations in the second phase of construction. The design promises to maintain 70% of the green areas in this lush tropical zone of Nicaragua.
Tola, Rivas is one of the most desired areas in Nicaragua, coveted for it's sandy beaches and excellent surf.
