I met a man en Barrio Las Torres in Managua, Nicaragua who really loves his rooster. Someone took after the rooster with a machete and got one of his legs. Seeing his feathered friend in distress, the man cleaned the wound and then fitted him with a little boot. He has another more stylish one waiting to fit him with, as you can see in the picture. The rooster is eternally grateful for this good act.
Conocí a un hombre en el Barrio Las Torres de Managua, Nicaragua. Él de verdad ama a su gallo. Alguien lo macheteó y lo dejaron sin una pata. Viendo su amigo con plumas en peligro, el hombre limpió la herida y luego le hizo una botita. Tiene otra bota, más de moda, a la orden cuando el gallo lo necesite. El gallo ha dado sus agradecimientos eternos por este acto de bondad.
