There are a few Pollo Estrella restaurants in the Managua area: the airport, Galerías de Santo Domingo, Plaza Inter, Las Americas and in a few other Managua locations (I went to the one from the Texaco Guanacaste about 3 blocks toward the lake) It might be called a 'poor man's Tip-Top' in reference to the competition. However, having eaten here for the first time, I must say I would prefer Pollo Estrella to Tip-Top. They had good service, a good play area for the kids and prices that are much more favorable than Tip-Top (as you can see in the picture). We ordered to the two sandwich special for C$140 ($6.45). The chicken was a breast portion and actually pretty good. As far as chicken and fast food in Nicaragua go, I'll give Pollo Estrella an 8 out of 10.
Hay unos cuantos restaurantes Pollo Estrella en Mangua: el aeropuerto, Galerías de Santo Domingo, Plaza Inter, Las Américas y unos otros lugares (fui a uno de la Texaco Guanacaste 3 cuadras al lago). Quizá se considere una segunda opción a la cadena nacional Tip Top. Sin embargo, al haber comido aquí por primera vez, debo admitir que prefiero Pollo Estrella a Tip-Top. Tienen buen servicio, un lugar de juegos para los niños y precios mucho más favorables que Tip-Top (notá la propaganda en la foto). Pedimos el especial de dos sandwich por C$140 ($6.45). El pollo era pechuga y muy sabroso. Hablando de pollo y comida rápida en Nicaragua, le doy un 8 de 10 a Pollo Estrella.
